Here we see CGRO in the cargo bay of Atlantis on April 5 or 6, 1991. The satellite always seemed quite huge to me, until I saw it sitting in the even more huge cargo bay of the shuttle. The size the shuttle orbiters still amazes me each time I see them. Along the right hand side of the picture, attached to the sill of the orbiter bay, you can see some of the space station construction technique hardware that Jay and Jerry tested during their EVA.
